We were commissioned to undertake the detailed design for a new detached dwelling, the brief being a large bespoke family home designed to respect the traditional character of the village.

The inspiration was a grand, double fronted 'Georgian style residence' with period detailing and proportions, both internally and externally, but with an added modern twist to the rear bringing contrast and deviating from the largely symmetrical form. 

The conventional hallway leads through to a generous multi-use space with large glazed openings creating a light, functional, contemporary area perfect for modern family living.
