A development on a greenfield site comprising 325 units, ranging from one bed apartment starter homes through to executive six bed detached villas.

The scheme was designed with clear hierarchy and structure, the large site broken down into smaller, individual areas to create spaces of differing character bringing legibility and interest throughout.

The design concepts included; formal tree-lined avenues and loops leading to secondary off-shoots serving intimate housing clusters; a pair of ‘gatehouses’ at the main entrance giving a sense of arrival; bespoke apartments and townhouses designed symmetrically around formal greenspaces with strong built form; large detached villas reflecting the local character along the existing street frontage; focal buildings creating vista stops and points of reference throughout.
